Set the Direction

Be very specific about what you are trying to achieve. The key is to set the direction, the mission, and then, over time, work to achieve it. Creating the appropriate data set and measurement systems are critical. This does not mean you retain 100% of the people who walk into your facility or onto your jobsite. This means you have a plan, work the plan – and using good information, improve the plan.
